Even the seals are sick of this weather

"Lads, is it over yet?"

The inclement conditions of recent days (weeks… hell, years…) have also been taking their toll on Ireland's wildlife population, who at this stage are just sick of the bloody wind.

This picture taken by Dáithí de Mórdha ‏this morning shows a colony of hundreds of seals huddled together for shelter on the Great Blasket Island's Tráigh Bhán (White Beach).

Ah, sure God love the poor auld craturs.
