The winning contestant will open for the star when she plays in Birmingham as part of her tour, as well as securing themselves a record contract.

Meanwhile, 'X Factor' judge Louis Walsh has admitted he is scared his protege Nicholas could die during the live final because of a "serious heart condition".

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, he revealed: "I am worried about the stress and strain on Nicholas. He has this serious heart condition. I worry about that for the weekend, honestly.

"There is nothing we an do. He is working really hard - we are just going to give him some time off.

"I think his family are worried but we want him there in the final ... You just don't know [how serious it could be]. When somebody dies, they're dead."
