Five 'Home and Away' couples we loved

Jack and Martha, Cassie and Rick, Charlie and Brax, Romeo and Indie, and Hayley and Noah.

Jack and Martha

These characters were intertwined in a constant on/off relationship.

The couple married, divorced and married again before Martha was widowed.

Cassie and Rick

Cassie and Rick provided some humorous storylines when they first got together.

They also reminded us of our ever dull and wet climate (which only added to our woes when we tuned in after coming home from school).

Charlie and Brax

They were a conventionally good looking couple playing the classic good girl/bad boy scenario.

But no one predicted that Charlie would die.

Although she did return as a ghost a couple of months later. You have to love when Home and Away pull that one!

Romeo and Indie

Romeo and Indie arguably had the most aggravating storyline. Like most couples in Home and Away they were on again/off again before finally marrying, splitting up, and then renewing their wedding vows.

Their final storyline caused quite a stir when terminally ill Romeo left the soap leaving only a letter

for Indie.

Hayley and Noah

The blonde duo were simply too cute and carefree to be wholesome. But turns out they were.

Similar to the previous pairs they just about made it down the isle.

Their ending too had ghost like qualities.
