If you were one of the half a dozen people in the country not watching The Late Late Toy Show on Friday night, you missed a cracker.

Host Ryan Tubridy didn't put a foot wrong for the night, from the Mary Poppins-themed opening number to his assured banter with a parade of charming kids.

Enjoy? We did, a lot. Cringe? We did not.

Anyway, we're late to the party on this but undoubtedly the highlight of the night was eight-year-old Domhnall O'Confhaola meeting his hero, Robbie Keane.

With over 260,000 YouTube views since Friday night, Domhnall is a bona fide viral sensation.

The second class pupil from Rosmuc in Co Galway, who was on the show to review FIFA 14 for X Box and had no idea Robbie was backstage, became an instant hit after being stuck for words when Robbie came out from backstage.

Domhnall, who admits he has a reputation for being a chatter box, told the Ray D'Arcy show on Today FM it was a first for him to be left speechless.
