Galway gets ready for Christmas time-lapse style

This brilliant time-lapse video of the building of the Galway Continental Christmas Market is enough to have you reaching for the decorations already!

The market opened last Friday and will run all the way up to December 22.

The build took seven days to complete.

The event is into its fourth year of existence and is Ireland’s longest running Christmas Market.

The market offers over 50 stalls with approximately 650,000 patrons expected to descend on the Eyre Square venue.

The camera responsible for the time-lapse was perched high on the Skeffington Arms Hotel and took a picture every minute to create the wonderful time-lapse.

It might just be worth a visit this Christmas!
