New date set for Brown assault case

R&B singer Chris Brown has won a delay in facing court on assault charges.

A Washington DC Superior Court judge postponed the hearing until January 8 after Brown’s lawyers successfully argued that he should not be forced to leave anger management rehabilitation in Los Angeles to travel to Washington for today’s hearing.
