Kelly Clarkson was "pathetically alone" before she got married.

The former 'X Factor' USA winner, who has announced she's pregnant with her first child after marrying Brandon Blackstock, has spoken about her struggle to find love.

She told Parade magazine: "I was single for almost seven years. Every Christmas, it was like, 'Seriously, I'm still pathetically alone? Awesome. I'm still telling people I'm okay with it? I'm not."
