Love Game of Thrones? Love the brutality with which it kills off your favourite characters? Well, you'll love this then.

Here, for your pleasure, is a stack of the books so far in George RR Martin's epic fantasy series, where each sticky tab marks the death of a character.

Yep. That's the kill count (so far) in A Song of Ice and Fire, the story on which HBO's Game of Thrones is based ("Game of Thrones" is only the name of the first book in the series, but hey, TV). It's pretty brutal.

Long-time fans and up-to-date TV viewers can probably spot the heavy concentration in A Storm of Swords, or the late episodes of season three for you TV watchers - but we won't ruin anything.

Created by redditor ma_petite_choufleur on the Game of Thrones subreddit, it's based off the same idea for the Harry Potter series - which isn't nearly as impressive.

One death per book in the first three? Please, JK. Puh-lease.
