This is brilliant - Bryan Cranston films alternate ending to Breaking Bad

But what if it had all been a dream?

So we've all heard the joke, or variations thereof:

"What if the ending of Breaking Bad is that Walt goes into a witness protection programme - and that's the start of Malcolm in the Middle.".

And it turns out, Bryan Cranston (Walt in BB, Hal in MitM - but if you're reading this, you already knew that) has heard the joke too.

'Ol Bryan hooked up with Jane Kaczmarek - who played long-suffering Louis in 'Malcolm' recently to record an alternate ending to BB, and it is brilliant.

To sum up - Hal awakes in a cold sweat in the wee hours of the morning, having 'dreamed' the events in Albuquerque.

"There was a guy who only rang a bell," he raves.

"There was a DEA agent after me, I think he was my brother or something - he looked like the guy from The Shield."

"And I had a shaved head, and a goatee, and I wore a black hat… and the only thing that made sense in the whole thing was that I walked around in my underwear."
