Harry Potter has never looked so delicious.

This Hogwarts gingerbread house is simply magical

This is a gingerbread house.

Or, more accurately, a gingerbread Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry castle.

The amazing creation has risen to fame online after being popped up on a literary cake Pinterest /blog. This monstrosity is 4 feet side and 2 feet deep, and made of gingerbread, cake, Rice Krispies, ice cream cones (for the towers) and 22kg of fondant icing.

Twenty-two kilograms of icing.

It's the work of Michigan-based cake-makers Ohio Bay Cakery, and, if their Facebook page is to be believed, was built for a Harry Potter fan's 18th birthday.

It is amazing. I mean, look at those windows.

Take a look at Cherry Bay Cakery's Facebook page for more marvellous creations.

Hat-tip to Geekologie, who spotted this on the Between the Pages blog.
