'Hurt Locker' actor arrested on drink-drive charges
Actor Anthony Mackie is facing two drink-driving charges after being arrested in New York City.
Police said the 35-year-old actor was arrested at 1.30am local time in Harlem yesterday and released after appearing at Manhattan Criminal Court, where he will return on December 19.
A publicist for 'The Adjustment Bureau' and 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' star had no comment. Mackie also has appeared in the Oscar-winning 'The Hurt Locker', 'Pain & Gain' and numerous other movies.
A criminal complaint charges him with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and while impaired by alcohol.
It says Mackie had the smell of alcohol on his breath, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech and he told an officer he had drunk one beer.
Mackie refused to take a breath test to measure his blood-alcohol level, the complaint says.
