New Hobbit trailer released

An extra long trailer for 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' (smorg) has been released.

It is after the footage premiered at a special worldwide fan event last night.

Stars of the current Middle Earth trilogy turned up for a Q and A in London, LA, New York, Madrid and Sydney.

In London, Andy Serkis - who plays Gollum - took the questions and he cannot wait for people to see the film - when it is finally out next month.

*I resisted the urge to write this entire story in block capitals but between this and the Anchorman movie it is going to be a worthwhile cinema month this December!
