Westlife star Egan to appear on I'm a Celebrity

Kian Egan has signed a £100,000 deal to be on 'I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!'.

The Westlife star and Voice of Ireland judge can't wait to get stuck into the show's infamous Bushtucker Trials – which see stars eating kangaroo penises and witchetty grubs in order to win meals for camp – but is aware the Australian jungle-based programme will not be an easy ride.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Kian’s a game lad and is well up for the jungle madness.

He knows it won’t be easy, but he’s often said he would love a go at those Bushtucker Trials.”

Despite Kian's keenness to do the Bustucker Trials, he might not be so fond of them when he finds out a cow's udder is on the menu this year.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “We’ll soon be renaming the show I’m A Celeb-t*tty. The very thought of biting down on a fleshy, milky udder is enough to make anyone ill.”

Host Declan Donnelly added: “It’s going to be tough for them. But not for us – we will be tucking into steak and chips.”

Other stars rumoured to be part of this year's 'I'm A Celebrity' lineup include snooker legend Steve Davis, 'The Wright Stuff' host Matthew Wright, Emmerdale's Lucy Pargeter and 'The Only Way is Essex' hunk Joey Essex.
