50 Cent sentenced over ex-lover

Rapper 50 Cent has been sentenced to three years probation after pleading no contest to vandalism after an alleged fight with his ex-girlfriend.

The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was ordered to pay €7,100 (€5,150) in restitution and take a year of domestic violence classes.

Jackson had previously pleaded not guilty at a Los Angeles court to destroying items in his ex-girlfriend’s home during an argument in June.

The woman accused Jackson of breaking down a door and kicking her, but the domestic violence charge was dropped today.

The rapper must comply with a restraining order.

Lawyer Scott Leemon said Jackson was pleased the case has been resolved and the domestic violence charge was dropped.
