Sad news at London Zoo as tiger cub drowns

We posted a video earlier this month of the first tiger cub to be born in London Zoo in 17 years - but we are now saddened by the news that the cub has died.

Keepers at the zoo are “very distraught” after the cub was discovered on the edge of the pool inside the tigers’ enclosure, a ZSL London Zoo spokeswoman said.
