#DonegalPostcodes teaches us how to get around rural Ireland
We've all been there. You're a Dubliner outside the city limits for the weekend, and you've no idea where you are. There are rocks as far as the eye can see, and one sullen sheep in a nearby field. Best ask for directions …
Only it's not really that simple. Irish people have a thing for landmarks like "the big gates" or "the wobbly tree". Or, even better, "Paddy Cullen's house."
With the announcement that Ireland is getting postcodes in the near future, the lads over at satirical website the Donegal Dollop have managed to get #donegalpostcodes trending on Twitter – your guide to key locations and landmarks in The Hills.

If you think these aren't accurate, then you've never been to Donegal. Just keep going 'til you hit the coast, then north all the way, and double back a bit. Be grand.
