Cohen dropped from Freddie Mercury film for being 'too funny'

Sacha Baron Cohen was reportedly dropped from the Freddie Mercury biopic for being 'too funny'.
The 'Les Miserables' actor quit the long-planned film about the late Queen frontman earlier this year amid clashes with Mercury's surviving bandmates, however, drummer Roger Taylor now claims he and Brian May axed the actor from the role because they feared the 'Bruno' funnyman would turn the movie into a comedy with his performance.
