'Mad Men' actor Jon Hamm will go under the knife to remove a single polyp - a growth of abnormal tissue - his representative confirmed.

The 42-year-old star was overheard talking about the procedure with his on-screen ex-wife January Jones at an Emmy Awards after party on Sunday night.
