Mayo photobomb campaign has global impact

A clever Facebook campaign, 'Mayo 4 Sam Photobombers' has been encouraging fans from all around the globe to get clever with their photobombing efforts in a bid to build support for the Mayo team.

Fans have done their utmost to rally behind their county in the hopes of ending their 62-year wait to see Mayo lift the Sam Maguire..

In addition to a medley of pictures on the site, team behind this popular Facebook page have released a cover of Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Jump on It” – for both the Mayo team and also for a little boy named Sam Bradley.

Sam Bradley from Enniskillen was diagnosed with high-risk Neuroblastoma in January 2013 and the proceeds of this charity version by Emzee A ft SAMS girls (Lyrics by Keelan T & Emzee A) will go to Sam's cause.

Thanks to the lads behind this campaign 'Mayo 4 Sam' now has two meanings.

In their efforts to get behind the team Mayo fans across the globe photobomed like never before and also got some celebs in on the act.

Even the Hollywood A-Listers were photobombed

Fans incorporated supportive messages into their work environments through the powerful medium of photobombing. Check out this construction worker in Canada or staff at this Chinese restaurant in Ballina:

Wherever they were they didn't forget their to bring their signs and Mayo memorabilia in case a photobombing opportunity presented itself
