Meet David Rudisha, Clare GAA player
Look out Cork – Clare have an Olympic medalist on their side for the hurling final replay.
David Rudisha – he of world-record Olympic fame in the 800m – showed his true colours while visiting Clare yesterday afternoon.

Rudisha was in Galway to promote the Galway-Kenya run for the Simon Community, and has a link to Ireland through Brother Colm O’Connell, his coach who began training young athletes while in Kenya as a missionary.

Good news for Cork fans is that the lightning-fast Kenyan has a knee injury, and is out of action until December.
