Fake ad for intern to replace Trap is a scream

We know funds are scarce, but are things really that bad at the FAI?

Nah, didn't think so, but this phony ad for a new Ireland footie boss is a laugh, even if it is worryingly accurate.

Redditor user usually_sarcasm pointed the way to this JobBridge ad for an intern to "gain practical experience in managing a questionably professional semi-world-class football team".

Nice.

We loved the next bit. "On completion, the intern will have gained experience in the planning and acquisition of nil-all draws."

Brilliant.

The job isn't for everyone though, oh no, the person must have an "intricate knowledge of the off-side rule, and an ability to handle disappointment".

Hmmm, that narrows it down quite a bit.

In an obvious swipe at the departing Italian, the ad stipulates that "an ability to string more than a few words together in english would be an advantage".

Does that mean no more Manuela?

To add to the already very strict criteria for the job, applicants must have "at least 50 hours played in Sega's Football Manager 2013" along with "a third-level degree in Spherical Object Analysis".

Good luck with that one.
