Battle of the hurling songs

Davy Sullz in the red corner for Cork, Noel McInerney in the yellow for Clare. Which song gets your vote?

Battle of the hurling songs

Some things never change, and the run-up to the All-Ireland final is no different.

As perennial a feature as the scramble for tickets and the moaning about the price of Dublin hotel rooms is the battle of the county songs.

As Clare prepare to face Cork in Croke Park on Sunday, we've lined up the best of the tunes doing the rounds on YouTube, for a no-holds-barred slugfest that surely (surely!) offers your best chance of predicting the actual match winner.

FOR CORK - DO THE JIMMY BARRY MURPHY

Cork rapper/producer GMC (in the character of Rebels superfan 'Davy Sullz') joins up with RedFM and samples Mark Morrison for 'Return Of The (Liam) Mack'.

FOR CLARE - THE BANNER'S ROAD TO CROKER

Tousled-haired Clare troubador Noel McInerney eschews the high-octane lepping about that characterises the Cork entry and strips it down in the bedroom, just him and his geetar.

And Mrs Brown, for some inexplicable reason.
