Fifty Shades fans - meet the new Anastasia

Dakota Johnson - daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson - has been cast as Anastasia Steele in the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.

The news was broken today by E.L. James, author of the steamy literary trilogy.

I am delighted to let you know that the lovely Dakota Johnson has agreed to be our Anastasia in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.

Meanwhile, Universal Pictures have confirmed that 'Sons of Anarchy' star Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey, which is a bit of a step up from Sons of Anarchy, whatever way you look at it.

The film, directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, will be released in the US next August.
