The Arsenal/Thrift Shop mashup that was sadly inevitable

In honour of transfer deadline day, this clip taking the mickey out of Arsenal's close grip on the wallet made us laugh.

Arsenal look to finally have loosened their grip on the purse strings today with news that Mesut Ozil is apparently on his way to the Emirates.

However before the deal was done for the Real Madrid midfielder, Arsene Wenger wasn't having much luck in the transfer market, with moves for Gonzalo Higuain, Luis Suarez and Yohan Cabaye all failing to come off

In fact, the free transfers of Yaya Sanogo and Mathieu Flamini had been the only moves of note up to now.

So a couple of disgruntled Gunners made a funny video, mocking Wenger's frugality to the tune of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' 'Thrift Shop'.
