Aaron Paul's audition tape shows why he got the part of Jesse

As the fifth and final season of Breaking Bad builds to its conclusion, interest in all things Albuquerque-related is peaking.
There's perhaps a hint of nostalgia in looking back to the very roots of what has become one of the most popular of modern crime drama series, as we see for the very first time characters with whom we have enjoyed a long journey.
Aaron Paul's 2008 audition for the part of Jesse Pinkman has been online for a while, but has popped up on the radar again in recent days.
It's easy to see why Paul, then known for little other than a bit part as Romeo in 90210 (the original and amazing Aaron Spelling 90210, not today's crappy version), got the job.
Nailed it, as they say.
As you can see from the clip, the role of Walter White is played not by Bryan Cranston but by an unnamed production lackey. We've hunted far and wide* for Cranston's audition tape, but so far, no dice.
We did however find these gems - audition footage of Anna Gunn (Skyler White) and Betsy Brandt (Marie Schrader) as well as the daddy of them all, Dean Norris (Hank Schrader)
Enjoy.
