11 awesome photos from Dublin's Comic-Con
The Dublin Comic-Con took place over the weekend, with comic, sci-fi and fantasy fans turning out in droves - and naturally, it being a comic-con, many turned up in costume.
Here are just a few of the brilliant cosplayers who arrived at the National Show Centre in Dublin yesterday.
Kate Ward completely nailed Mystique, the shape-shifting mutant from the X-Men series.

Callum Kelly, aged 7, with Brian Campbell in his Ironhide armour. We can only imagine the effort involved in building this monstrosity!

Nightmares, anyone? Sarah Reddin will haunt our dreams.

Erin Kyle as Harley Quinn, the Joker's girlfriend in the Batman comics from DC.

Mia Priest as Captain America and Oisin Maher as Batman: parenting at its finest.

Lee Anne Scanlon as a Kirin - a type of unicorn - from the Monster Hunter game series. It can be quite tricky to turn an animal into a human costume, but this looks brilliant.

John O Bruachail as Deadpool, the off-the-wall fan favourite comic character.

Homer the Super Dog, doing his best impersonation of Krypto the Superdog.

Fair play to Luke Brennan for his solid attempt at Robin in actual battle armour.

Darren Nolan lugs around an enormous Buster Sword from the epic fantasy game.

Connla O Manitou leaves his Irish roots behind to become Ezio, the Italian assassin from the Assassin's Creed game franchise.
