Ireland just won the World Cup!

… The Quidditch World Cup, but it still counts.

The Irish National Quidditch team have this morning won the World Cup.

In case you didn't know, it's not their first win.

In 1994 they defeated Bulgaria in the final to take home the coveted title.

The team is made up of one seeker, one keeper, two beaters and three chasers.

At the helm is Aiden Lynch who was a key force in their 1994 victory.
