White Stripes star denies threatening estranged wife

Rocker Jack White has denies threatening his estranged British wife, in a US court filing following her request for a temporary restraining order.

Singer and model Karen Elson, who was granted the order pending a hearing, showed the court an email from the former White Stripes frontman that expresses unhappiness with her plans for their children’s schooling and criticises rock ’n’ roll rival Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys.
