Chris O'Dowd wants your help to build a giant floating, er, scrotum

Chris O'Dowd, Irish star of The IT Crowd, Bridesmaids, and Moone Boy, want to build a giant floating scrotum for £100,000.

No word of a lie.

Naturally, it's for charity - for awareness of testicular cancer. Because, as O'Dowd puts it, "that's what blokes do - they ignore bad stuff."

So the crowd-funding campaign to build the world's largest flying scrotum - which we're sure is the world's only one - was born.

"A massive flying ballsack will be impossible to ignore. And hopefully chip away at the taboos still surrounding this nasty little cancer," the campaign's fundraising page points out.

If £100k (€115k) sounds like a lot, they also point out they expect it to last ten years and be shipped all over the world.

Want to chip in a few bob? The funding page is here.

Hat-tip to the Daily Edge who spotted it today.
