Dolce & GabBaaaaaaana: Antrim's sheep fashion competition
So, in a combination of "when it's sunny everyone goes mad" and "only in Ireland" posts, we'd like to share with you the existence of the Sheep Fashion Show.
This actually happened in Co Antrim yesterday, and produced the best photo of an incredibly happy sheep wearing a school uniform that we've ever seen. Honest.

Although we were only able to track down two photos of the competitors, they had a pretty great range, as 12-year-old Lucy McCammond showed with Mr Leprechaun:

We're genuinely taking all the Irish stereotypes and making them real. It's a sham. And a fraud. And a sham!*
This all took place at the Dalriada festival in Glenarm, Co Antrim. It celebrates the cultures of both Ireland and Scotland, and so also included games like throwing rocks, tug-of-war, and whatever produced this brilliant photo of a pig eating an ice cream:
We're already booking our tickets for next year.
