There's nothing like summer love. And accidental solicitation.

We've all been in the situation - you spot an attractive stranger in the most normal of places, but, not wanting to be creepy, you allow the opportunity to pass you by.

Not so with this writer to London's Metro newspaper, who - and we may be giving away the punchline here - calls himself "Creepy Guy at Station".

Our Lothario was so smitten with a stunning brunette on the city's Metro line that he needed to give her his phone number - but didn't have any paper.

Resulting in one of the most amazing fumbles of all time.

If you're out there, Stunning Brunette, you should have taken the tenner. He's a keeper.
