Pixies' first new music video in nine years: 'Bagboy'

The Pixies released their first music video in almost a decade - just a few weeks after losing a member.

The band's bassist and vocalist, Kim Deal, only announced she was leaving the band in mid-June; and in the month since, the group have not only replaced her with Kim Shattuck (of the Muffs) on bass, but brought out "Bagboy", their first song since the iTunes-only release of "Bam Thwok" in June 2004.

The new video is typically surreal - especially around the 2:30 mark.

Both the November dates for Dublin's Olympia Theatre sold out minutes after going on sale, leaving die-hard fans searching for second-hand sales.

All that fuss after not releasing anything in a decade? Fair play.
