Sting goes to Cork pub, sings an 'aul tune

Sting - yes, that Sting: Roxanne, The Police, tantric sex and stuff - is playing in Cork tonight, and he's been enjoying the craic on Leeside.

He enjoyed the gourmet delights of Kinsale yesterday, as evidenced by this picture posted to Twitter by Trevor Welch of TV3…

… while Sunday regulars in popular city watering hole Sin É were somewhat surprised when Mr Gordon Sumner hopped up for a sing-song later in the evening.

Dunno about you, but Sting has just gone up in our estimation - we're big fans of 'celebs' who slope off for a sneaky pint when the occasion demands.

Maybe it's a Cork thing - Remember the time Lady Gaga popped up in the Rising Tide in Glounthaune?
