Paparazzo to sue Bieber

Justin Bieber has been sued by a paparazzo who claims the singer kicked and punched him last year at a Southern California shopping centre.

A lawsuit filed yesterday alleges the 'Baby' singer attacked Jose Osmin Hernandez Duran after Bieber and his then-girlfriend Selena Gomez went to the cinema at The Commons in Calabasas.

Mr Duran claims Bieber started to leave the shopping centre in his Mercedes, but got out of his car, sprinted toward him and jumped into the air up to 8 feet away and "delivered a martial arts-type kick... in the lower rib cage on the left side of his abdomen."

According to the lawsuit, Jose claims that Bieber then used his left fist to punch him on the right side of his face and pushed him against a parked car.

The alleged victim also said that Gomez, 20, returned to the scene a few minutes later to search for her phone and apologised to him for Bieber's behaviour.

Duran has not stated how much compensation he is seeking in the lawsuit.
