'Irish Maradona' hailed as solo score goes viral
We're all used to seeing clips on YouTube of spectacular goals from the likes of Leo Messi (happy birthday, Leo) and that Swedish lad with the hair, but it's not often that a score from the lower leagues of Irish amateur footy makes the grade.
However the below score from a 2009 U17 game between Bohemians and Leixlip Utd has clocked up over 600,000 views online in recent days after it was picked up by some viral video sites in the UK.
It's even made it as far as the Daily Mail and Eurosport, which breathlessly dubbed the scorer 'the Irish Maradona'.
It's been described by as "the greatest solo goal ever scored in amateur football" - we'll leave it up to you to be the judge of that.
The identity of the scorer was initially a mystery but he's now been unmasked as .
