'World's Best Job' winner Allan Dixon causes news anchor to giggle like schoolgirl during tragic reports.

Aussie newsreader cracks up after flirting with Irish guest

Wicklow native Allan Dixon charmed the judges to win a coveted contact in a 'World's Best Job' competition in Australia last week - now he's charming the country's media.

Allan - who beat more than 30,000 applicants to land the dream job of 'outback ranger' - was interviewed on Australia's Network Ten news over the weekend when host Matt Doran attempted to set him up with comely co-anchor Natasha Exelby.

Some flirtatious banter followed, with Allan - who's 26, and easy enough on the eye himself - saying "why not, I'm single" and Natasha adding "maybe he'll get to be one lucky little leprechaun".

Poor Tash was forced to apologise however, after she stumbled through a series of serious reports with a chronic fit of the giggles brought on by the exchange.
