Is this the world's weirdest mascot?

A Brazilian cancer awareness organisation has raised some eyebrows with their new mascot.

Meet Senhor Testiculo, aka 'Mr Balls'.

The hairy - and disturbingly realistic - mascot is the brainchild of AAPEC, a a group that is seeking to raise awareness of testicular cancer research, according to the New York Daily News.

Fans have been flocking to meet Mr Balls at events and festivals where AAPEC has has a presence.

"Both children and adults loved taking pictures with the mascot, a friendly snowman in the shape of testicle," says the non-profit organization's website.

The group says Mr Balls "has done his job by helping to propel testicular cancer research into the media spotlight."

Yes. You could argue that.
