Adele has bulletproof windows in her new £5m (€5.88m) home.
The 'Skyfall' hitmaker - who was awarded an MBE for her services to music in the Queen's Birthday Honours list yesterday - is taking no chances despite her house being in the same neighbourhood as the likes of the Beckham family.
It is said the 25-year-old singer wants to protect herself, her partner Simon Konecki and their eight-month-old son Angelo and was quick to make improvements to the west London property.
An insider told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: "She moved in a couple of months ago. She has renovated the whole place and has even installed bulletproof windows. The property has four bedrooms."
Despite the protective measures, Adele was recently revealed to be shopping for bargains at second-hand stores as she started furnishing her new home.
A source previously said: "Adele is like any normal girl - she loves a bargain.
"She'd rather shop local, too, so these are the obvious places to go.
"She doesn't get bothered much where she's decided to live so she's got plenty of time to delve into whatever's in the shops."
