Mumfords bassist Dwane discharged after blood clot removal op

Mumford and Sons star Ted Dwane has been discharged from hospital after an operation to remove a blood clot from his brain.

The bassist is now "on the road to a full recovery" after his treatment, according to a statement on the band's Facebook page.

They say "he has been nothing short of heroic in how he has handled the whole ordeal".

The group have also decided to cancel the remainder of their US shows.
