Cavan man invites Obama for a pint
Barack might be a busy man next month when he pops over for the G8 summit in Fermanagh.
Some chancer from Cavan has emailed the president to see if he wants to take in a game and a few pints with the lads afterwards.
According to the Anglo Celt paper, Cootehill man Dean Arrowsmith was so thrilled with Cavan's recent win over Armagh that he thought the Offaly native might want to see his beloved Cavan take on Fermanagh.
The offer to Obama even goes so far as to "buy you a pint of Guinness". Well, that'd be a clincher in our book.
As Dean himself says "Why wouldn’t you?"
Since he sent the email, he's got a bit of coverage for it.
