Lowe set for JFK role

Rob Lowe is set to play JFK in a TV movie marking the 50th anniversary of the assassination of the president in 1963.

The West Wing star will play John F Kennedy in the two-hour drama from National Geographic called "Killing Kennedy".

Ginnifer Goodwin will play First Lady Jackie Kennedy in the show, with filming due to start in June.
