Daft Punk innovated with mikes to create 'classic' music

Daft Punk used three microphones to record 'Random Access Memories'.

The French duo - Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter - wanted to capture the atmosphere of their music accurately through the new record so went the extra mile and put the tracks together using different equipment, giving listeners a unique listening experience.
