A new survey of over 30,000 US women has revealed that Irish men are the second most attractive nationality.

Yes ladies, that lad sitting on the couch beside you of an evening in his GAA jersey, picking bits of rasher out of his teeth with one hand and rummaging in his tracksuit bottoms with the other - the Yank women would fight you for him.

The survey was carried out by dating websitemisstravel.com, with Castleknock's Colin Farrell quoted as the 'face' to represent Irish manhood.

(We would have thought more Colm Meaney than Colin Farrell, but what do we know…)

It's not all good news - the men of Ireland were beaten to top spot by the Brits (face - Prince Harry), which will go down like a lead balloon.
