Bassey to perform at Cannes

Shirley Bassey will perform at a celebrity Aids fundraiser at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

The Welsh showbiz veteran, who performed at this year’s Oscar ceremony, will join acts including Ellie Goulding and Duran Duran at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala at the annual movie industry gathering in the south of France later this month.
