Osbourne set to return to 'X Factor'

Sharon Osbourne has reportedly agreed a £1.8m (€2.1m) deal to return to 'The X Factor'.

The showbiz matriarch's talks to come back to the judging panel of the talent contest had stalled following problems in her marriage to Ozzy Osbourne.

However, after reportedly being offered a £1.5m (€1.77m) salary and £300,000 (€354,472) of first-class flights between Los Angeles and the UK, Sharon has committed to the programme and will fly to Britain ahead of the first auditions in Glasgow on June 4.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Sharon's been through hell lately, so X Factor was not front of mind.

"But she loves the show and missed it.

"Things with Ozzy have calmed down, but they're a long way off being sorted."

Original judge Sharon - who quit in 2008 because of her dislike of fellow judge Dannii Minogue - will also receive five-star hotel accommodation, wardrobe and make-up costs under the terms of her contract to replace Tulisa on the show.

Head judge Gary Barlow is said to still be negotiating a £1.5m (€1.77m) deal to return for a third year, and Louis Walsh is close to signing a £1m (€1.18m) contract.

Fourth judge Nicole Scherzinger has not yet committed to the show has she has a new album to promote later this year, so bosses are said to be lining up Mel B to take her place if talks break down.
