IN PICTURES: Stars go punk at glam NY ball

The big names punked it up at the annual Met Ball in Manhattan last night.

The stars of stage and screen - well, more like screen, YouTube and America's Got Talent - were out in force in New York last night, looking a bit more dishevelled than usual (but ever so carefully so).

The occasion was the Met Gala, a big fund-raiser for New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

There was a punk theme to the event to embrace the featured exhibit inside called Punk: Chaos To Couture.

Guests went with an edgy look, but who pulled it off?
