Happy Fungi Day!
It's been 30 years since Fungi the dolphin made his first appearance in Dingle Bay.
Over the years the cheeky chappie has been amusing the tourists down in Kerry so much that he has his own Facebook page and his own Twitter account.

Is it just us, or does it look like he has a bit of an accent there from his tweets? Maybe he's picking up the Kerry schtick.
Think we're being stupid? Have a look at this article from the Irish Examiner then.
Anyway, we're sure a few of the local politicos would agree he's virtually a Kerry native.

It's not only the TDs trying to bask in his glory, heck, da fish even has his own posse. Or should that be school?
.
Other long-time fungi fans, Trevor Read and his friends have been busy compiling a clip to celebrate the occasion.

If you're in the area, pop into the West Kerry town where the local station Radio Kerry are broadcasting live to mark 'Fungi Day'.
