Sarah Jessica Parker is putting her 'Sex and the City' shoes up for a charity auction.
The 48-year-old actress, who starred as Carrie Bradshaw in 'Sex and the City', has donated three pairs of signed shoes from her days playing the fashion-mad writer in a bid to raise money for a New York high school.
The shoes from Prada, Johnathan Kelsey and Dolce Vita will be sold alongside Britney Spears' pink platforms from her 'Crazy' tour, Shaquille O'Neal's size 22 basketball trainers and Madonna's thigh-high stiletto boots from her Super Bowl performance.
The auction is sponsored by 'Gotta Have Rock and Roll' and all proceeds from the sale will go to New York's LAGuardia High School of Music, Art and the Performing Arts.
The auction will start on April 24 and bidding starts at $100.
Sarah recently admitted she had stopped wearing high heels so much after irreparably damaging her feet wearing cheap footwear on the set of her 2011 movie 'I Don't Know How She Does It'.
She sighed: "I wore beautiful shoes, and never complained. But then I did 'I Don't Know How She Does It', and I was very thoughtful about my whole wardrobe and said you know, [my character, Kate Reddy] could not afford really good shoes, she would go to Nine West or Aldo.
"So I got shoes from there and the bottom of the shoes aren't leather, they are plastic, so I slipped a couple times, twisted my ankle.
"I went to a foot doctor and he said, 'Your foot does things it shouldn't be able to do. That bone there ... You've created that bone. It doesn't belong there.' "
