Madonna demanded VIP treatment, says Malawi government

The Malawi government alleges pop diva Madonna pressed the state for VIP treatment.

A harshly-worded statement issued today by the president’s office in the capital, Lilongwe, criticised Madonna, alleging that she expected to have special VIP status.
