You know what day it is – were you fooled by any of these internet April Fools’ jokes?
ThinkGeek capitalised on the recent trend for 3D modelling by advertising a Play-Doh 3D printer. The clue was was in the web address.

Google led the way on YouTube with a series of gags, including a new feature allowing users to “search for smells” with "Goggle Nose".
Another joke promised us Gmail Blue – “it’s like Gmail … only bluer”.
Not to be outdone, YouTube also posted its own hoax video, claiming that the video-sharing giant was planning to go offline at midnight tonight...
All the internet giants seemed to be up for a giggle, with Twitter claiming in its official blog that it in an effort to diversify its revenue stream, it was banning users from using vowels.
“For five dollars a month, you can use our premium “Twitter” service which also includes vowels,” the blog said.

Last but not least Virgin Atlantic promised us an “aviation breakthrough” in the form of a plane with a glass bottom – not recommended for nervous fliers.
